October at Beach Reach
"We spent 6 days at the end of October at Beach Reach. 4 adults and 2 children. The location is fantastic and even in October, access to the beach from the back door is fantastic. Waking up in the 1st floor bedroom to the amazing view is a real treat. There is loads to do in the area and we can highly recommend the English Heritage sites of Battle Abbey and Dover Castle as well as the fantastic bike tracks around Bedgebury Pinetum. The house had everything we needed and was a comfortable and cozy retreat each evening. Having a real fire was a treat. The only observation I would make is that a single under surface fridge is just not big enough for 6 people for a week of self catering. Although we topped up food supplies through out the week it was difficult cramming everything in to such a small fridge."
"The house was as described online. It was clean and well equipped, the beach front location was as described. We enjoyed our stay."
