Holidays on the Isle of Wight

Families, couples, explorers, cyclists – The Isle of Wight has something for everyone.  Truly beautiful sandy beaches, plenty of interesting scenic cycle routes, golf courses, watersport activities, historical sites and many family fun attractions.

Families will enjoy Blackgang Chine and The Needles Park, as well as fossil hunts and Dinosaur Isle – Britain’s first purpose built dinosaur attraction.

For the culturally minded, attractions such as Osborne House (Queen Victoria’s family home), Carisbrooke Castle, Bembridge Windmill and The Steam Railway will be sure to pique your interest.

Shanklin, Sandown and Ventnor are all typical seaside towns, hosting golden sandy beaches and an array of amusements, cafes and shops.  The Island has 57 miles of coastline, so you are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing which beach to explore.  Outside of the summer season, some of the more rural beaches are perfect for taking a stroll to enjoy the surrounding scenery.

The Island has more than 500 footpaths and is a superb place for cyclists too.  The sea air and the peaceful vibe ensure a relaxing holiday can be had here.
